Welcome to my life! As someone who loves to write and take photographs, my current mission with this website is to post a photo a week (more often if possible) with a few thoughts or a story to go with each one. I hope you’ll enjoy my musings as much as I enjoy yours. Please click “Blog” on the menu, or here, to see what I’ve been up to.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about life: whether or not there is a purpose, and, if so, where I fit in. For me, it has something to do with consciousness, and connections.

One of the best ways I know of to connect with you is through writing. Sometimes I believe I was born to write. As a little kid, I always thought I was born to play the piano, because my fingers just itched to touch those ivories. We couldn’t afford a piano until I was older, but now I’m beginning to think it was writing that my fingers were craving.

So here I sit, fingers moving across the keyboard, trying my best to connect with you. I hope you’ll want to connect with me, too, and that you’ll write back.

Besides writing and photography, other passions that I have are songwriting, playing the guitar, and cooking. What are your passions?

My shameless plugs and their shameless links are highlighted below:

Songs for the Seasons — my 4-song EP for kids, available on CDBaby.

Standing in the Surf —  my photo journal about the Pacific Northwest area near Seattle known as the Salish Sea. (It’s on Amazon … and you can leave a review of it here.)

Many of my photos are available for downloading on Shutterstock.

Thanks for visiting my website!

  1. I was born and raised in Burlington, Washington. About 80 miles north of Seattle. My grandmother spend most of a childhood on Lopez Island. The Salish Sea is pretty close to that area. I’m hoping you had a lot of fun out there.

      1. Whidbey Island! Yes, that was my home away from home. Did you walk across Deception Pass Bridge? That’s always a must. You are bringing back memories. 🙂

      2. No, I didn’t walk across the bridge … but I did take lots of pictures there. I’ve just put one on my Photo page (it’s the last one in the June, 2017 group). There are more photos of Whidbey Island in my e-book, Standing in the Surf (shameless plug).

      3. I use to date a girl, way back in another lifetime. We went all over that island. They were making a movie out there. I remember her and I somehow found our way around the actors trailers. The trouble we got in to. 🙂
